Environmentally formulated FireAde® 2000 Class A foam is the newest generation in Class A foam. Using Green Agent Technology™, environmentally friendly formula prevents environmental hazards and demonstrates our long term commitment to the environment. The foam agent is formulated to prevent additional environmental hazards when applied to a fire. The ability of FireAde® 2000 Class A foam to not only extinguish but sustain extinguishment once applied is superior to other Class A foams. It contains ZERO hazardous materials in the formulation; it will not clog, gum, or corrode foam systems and equipment. This environmentally friendly concentrate implements a dramatically changed chemistry compared to most Class A foams. This chemistry enables FireAde® 2000 Class A foam to be used in all types of foam portioning systems, compressed air foam systems (CAFS), in-line eductors, and standard foam equipment.
Grass fires and Initial Structural Knockdown:
0.10% - 0.25%
Tire Fires, Landfill Fires, Coal Fires and Wildland Fires:
0.25% - 0.50%
Car/Vehicle Fires and Overhaul:
0.50% - 1.0%
Recommended to set foam system defaults between 0.25% and no more than 0.50%
Compressed Air Foam Systems (CAFS) should be calibrated using a foaming solution under 50 cps for accurate calibration
It is recommended to flush all Class A foam tanks if possible. If not, use as much of previous Class A foam, then add FireAde® 2000 concentrate. Mixing with most Class A foams will not cause harm to systems.
FireAde® 2000 Class A is compatible with other brands of Class A foam concentrates.
FireAde® 2000 Class A is compatible with any Class B FireAde® 2000 concentrates.
