FireAde 2000 on E-85 Fuels

We at Fire Service Plus, Inc are always staying on top of technology. We understand the fire industry has many concerns about E-85 fuels. Fire Service Plus, Inc has completed a series of tests using E-85 fuel.

We conducted this series of tests at the State of Georgia Fire Academy in Forsyth, Georgia. A large fire pan with 55 gallons of E-85 floating on water was used for all the tests. We used standard firefighting equipment with foam eductors mixing FireAde 2000 at 3% and 6% in each test. FireAde 2000 rapidly extinguished these E-85 fires with NO problem. Standard firefighting techniques were used.

However, we recommend that FireAde 2000 is to be applied at 6% when extinguishing E-85 fuel fires. This percentage will allow FireAde 2000 to work most efficiently with rapid extinguishment. Standard firefighting equipment is required when using FireAde 2000 on E-85 fuel fires.

Finally, Fire Service Plus, Inc will continue testing on E-85 fuel fires. We want to make sure that our customers are completely informed about FireAde 2000 and the different applications. All Fire Service Plus, Inc updates will be posted on our website.
